Hello! My name is Ronna Rochell and I am so happy you are here!  I offer classes in Yoga, Fitness Barre and Core Strength— and 40 years of teaching experience.

Of course, normally I teach in-person classes, but at the present time all my classes are taught virtually through Zoom because of the pandemic.

More About Me
I started teaching fitness classes when I was 16 — and, for 40 years, I have continued sharing my passion for fitness and my expertise. I have earned many different national fitness certifications, which all help me better serve my students.  As a yoga teacher for more than 30 years, I have been certified through two different yoga schools.  In addition, I  earned my MFA in Dance and performed with modern dance companies in Chicago and Minneapolis.  With my more than 40 years' experience as a teacher of movement, I have a lot to offer my students.  All of my education and experience gives me unique perspective on the body's optimal health, expression and alignment.

"Fitness Barre is a challenging blend of pilates, yoga, barre, and some free weight training.  I was a complete beginner, but Ronna is able to give options to adapt for all levels.  After about six weeks of doing Fitness Barre once a week, I noticed that my creaky knees have improved.  I have also noticed that I unconsciously incorporate the barre movements when reaching into my cupboards to grab dishes or put them away.
Core Strength is a dynamic class that packs a lot into a 45 minute session.  It is a challenging class for all levels, but Ronna offers options to adapt for beginner to advanced.  I thought my regular yoga practice had already made my core strong, but Core Fit helped me get reacquainted with some core muscles I hadn’t visited in a while.   After about 4 weeks, I was excited to notice that I was making progress.  I recommend this class to anyone."
